No School! No School! No, No, NO SCHOOL!

That was the song of Mr. 6 this morning ... standing at my bedroom window shaking his behind and singing. It's the first time weather has closed our schools in two years, which makes it his first-ever snow day. Aaah. A day of snowball fights and hot chocolate ... I don't expect I'll get much written today!

Hi HB
Well id send you some warm desert wind to melt that snow; but, we have had our desert winter weather as of late! Thanks so much for adding your point of view!!!
Namaste,

Usually the North East is where the action is with March snow --- we are only getting a few fluries.

Hope you enjoy the snow and keep warm.

Ooh, hope you had a fun snow day! Hot chocolate sounds great. Was just catching up and reading about your son's belt (Yay!) and your thoughts on the philosophy of the belt colors (cool) -- I like that idea, of filling up with knowledge, gradually getting darker with it, like all the ink of your experiences written in your soul. Neat!

Hi! I just commented on your previous post but I also wanted to say AHHHHHHH>>> snow days. I miss them so!!

I grew up without snow days (no snow where I grew up :( but we had foggy days from time to time where the buses wouldn't run and school was delayed for a few hours or even cancelled (WOOHOO!). Man those days were the best! (and that's coming from someone who really enjoyed school!)

Jim

P.S. - and a belated congrats to your son's belt! I remember rank tests well (so stressful, difficult (lot's of sweat!), but ultimately UNBELIEVABLY rewarding!--GREAT for him!!)
